THE WALNUT TREE GITE

Set in the beautiful Limousin on the edge of the small medieval town of Le Dorat famous for its 12th century 'Collegiale' (church), our gite is a beautifully restored farm workers cottage, combining original features with a contemporary fresh feel.
The gite is close to our own home but has its own entrance, parking, private terrace equipped with sun loungers, table and chairs, parasols and naturally the cool shade of the walnut tree.
The gite comprises of open plan kitchen, diner and lounge, and first floor 2 double bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms.
The ample sized swimming pool (shared with the owners) is perfect for cooling off after a hard day sightseeing

Summary
Looking back to the Gite from the extensive grassed space (1 hectare) to wander or play ball games etc. Help yourself to fruit from our trees. Fresh eggs and vegetables are also available,when in season, just ask us and we can provide.
Check in times are from 16:00, check out up to 11:00am or by special arrangement.
